One of if not the best all season tire for the money right now.
We discovered these tires a few years ago while searching customer reviews. They rated higher in many categories than more expensive tires. So we gave them a shot. We were surprised at how smashing the traction was in all weather conditions. Wet, dry, snow, and ice. They are quiet, ride well, and have gotten the states through many a snow storm, and there is zilch hydroplane in moisture conditions. They just grip every road surface, and they track straight without the wandering feeling yous tin can get from some tires. The General Altimax rt43 is an outstanding value. I have put them on two cars, my wife on iii, my daughter, and female parent in police both run them. I tin not speak of wear much notwithstanding, as we don't keep our cars long, or put many miles on them, merely so far we take had them on a Pontiac G6, Saab nine-3, Saab 9-2x, BMW 328xi, Chevy Sonic, Chevy Impala, and a chevy Equinox, and depending on the size, it will either be a H, or V rated tire. It depends on the size. I retrieve there is a T rated as well. At present that I take said all I think I tin can say nigh the tires, allow me but say Tires-easy.com had the all-time price on the internet, and fast shipping. We volition employ them once more equally well

Unfortunately in that location are not a lot of choices in brand names for this size. The oem hankooks last perchance 30k. I've had Michelin defenders that I had 25 k on before I sold my prior Hyundai. So far id say these are better than the hankooks merely not quite upwardly to the michelins. Although they are two/3 the cost of the michelins.

Beloved these tires!
I take these tires on four different vehicles now. I had recently bought a 2011 Hyundai elantra with tires that rode terribly. I swapped the wheel size down from 17" to sixteen" and replaced the tires with Altimax RT's. Amazingly meliorate ride now....I went from hating my car to loving information technology. These tires are about the best deal around for cost, condolement, and long lasting.

When I switched out my old Toto tires I was really impressed with the smoothness they transmites. It was similar a stupor absorber upgrade. They bear very well navigating over speed bumps and they practise their job when pushed around curvy mount roads. On wet surfaces they transmit security and they work with confidence along with the ABS. When taking the loop to go on the Highway they offer plenty of grip. This may sound similar publicity, but it isn't. I genuinely feel like they're an fantabulous blindside for your buck. The front wall is by no ways stunning but the performance in every 24-hour interval driving situations more than makes up for that trivial shortcoming.

Good tires for the money
I put these tires on a Lincoln MKZ in December in Michigan and liked them enough to put them on a second automobile, a Ford Flex Each auto has 5000 miles on the tires and overall performance is very skilful. The Generals replaced Uniroyal GTX's on the Lincoln and are a huge improvement during heavy pelting covered freeway driving. Much of the other driving has been on snowfall and ice. Traction improved after initial break in of approx 2000 miles.

Best tires for 2013 Toyota Avalon
Better than the OME's that came on the vehicle. During the 125,000 miles I take on the vehicle 3 other brands were tried. The Bridgestone and Firehawks, became noisy after 20K. The 2013 Avalon is known for the business firm ride notwithstanding the Generals are quiet and smooth. The car has never run this placidity.

Tertiary fix of Altimax tires I have bought. They wearable like atomic number 26 with first-class traction and adept ride. Every set yields more miles than rated. Non the nigh quiet tires out there but don't really intendance almost that. More than acceptable in the snow even though they are primarily highway tires not for wintertime time driving. Best Tires I've Ever Owned For A Chevy Blazer
E'er since owning our 99 Chevy Blazer I have always bought General Altimax RT or RT43 tires due to there quality. I still accept on our 99 Chevy Blazer two General Altimax RT tires I bought back in 2013 for the forepart and there however going strong till this solar day and accept pretty decent tread on them still. I bought the other two General Altimax RT43 tires for the rear and oasis't looked back. These tires are astonishing and I highly recommend them for anyone looking for proficient quality tires no matter the size or vehicle in that location going on. They have good traction every bit well. Highly recommended for 4X4's, merely also good for whatsoever other standard vehicles.

I have been using these tires on my 2013 Subaru Crosstrek for nearly iii months. I did a lot of research before purchasing these tires and, I must say, I agree with all the other positive reviews I read. I live in the Colorado mountains so I'm routinely driving on paved and dirt roads that accept a lot of twists and turns - so good handling and traction on my tires is very important and quite noticeable. I accept been very impressed with how these tires handles in both wet and dry atmospheric condition. This is my first set of General tires and I volition likely exist purchasing General tires from now on. The product quality is superior to other tires I've used in the by. Plus, Tires-Easy's cost is unbeatable! I got the V-speed tire for less money than competitors were offering for the H-speed tires. Keep in mind - I only apply these from the tardily-Bound thru early-Fall, and then I use snow tires during the winter. So my cess doesn't include sleet, snow and water ice conditions.
