One of the all-time animated shows airing right now
It's difficult to explain, this show is simply amazing and entertaining to scout! The chief characters are all charming and lovable, the plot is enticing, and the sense of humour is surprisingly fun for adults equally well as kids. There has been a trend of brilliant kids cartoons like Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, and Take a chance Fourth dimension reversing the otherwise downward trend kids TV programs face. In that location seems to be a great disparity betwixt kids shows these days, in that they're all either mindless cash grabs past network producers, or they're completely bright and absolutely amazing for kids and adults alike. Star Vs the Forces of Evil certainly falls into the ladder. Information technology actually took long exposure to heavy praise of the show to become me to finally buckle down and watch it. Half way into season 1, I was hooked. Though the traits that make it a kids program are oft glaring, the characters are so well-written that it becomes difficult not to love them. In one case the plot falls into motion, it's impossible to stop watching. Having watched upward to the most recent episode as of posting this, it's impossible for me to give this show any less than a x. All i can say more is, if you start to watch this show, you lot'll fall in beloved, no matter what age you are.

I cried at the terminate lols

This show was surprisingly hilarious! I loved it and then much I rampage watched all 4 seasons. And yes I definitely cried at the end, in that location was so much going on I was overwhelmed lols. The last episode when you call back Marco and Star will never see each other again was unexpected but the catastrophe was a even more daze! Both worlds colliding would have never crossed my mind, but I got the serious chills after that. Beautiful ending to a cracking bear witness, I honestly hoped they would continue the show but I judge that's not happening. Beloved the show though and it has constant action and witty comments to keep you interested.

Don't judge a book by its cover!
At a start glance, this show may expect similar an annoying little kids testify, but don't exist fooled. This is by far one of the best shows Disney has made, and I hope to run into more of it in the future. I dearest how every character has depth and multiple sides to them you didn't know they had. Even Star has a rebel warrior side to her, and y'all may experience bad for the antagonists as well. The plot may seem dull and simple at outset, merely then information technology blossoms into a globe of lore and mystery. Even in its simpler times, the evidence is even so very entertaining. Some episodes will be filled with fun, adventure, and monster butt kick, while other episodes will be filled with emotion, lore, and a glimpse at the lives of other characters. Plus, this show is very funny, greatly blithe, and just plain fun to spotter. Some elements of the show remind me of other shows, books, video games, and comics I savor.This is a must watch serial especially if you like shows such every bit Gravity Falls or Adventure Time. It's really, actually fun and good-natured. Animation is brightly colored and fluid. The unlike worlds Star visited are pretty creative.
CREATIVITY is the key betoken in this show. The writer's throw every weird and fun idea into the bowl. While being wacky, they do a surprising job of didactics lessons and keeping characters real and grounded in their motivations.
I recommend this film for anyone. Yeah, its a children's show, but anyone tin can like information technology. With so many shows out that tin be nighttime, nihilistic, or at least jaded, its squeamish to encounter something that brings joy. If you lot liked Gravity Falls and wanted something to fill the pigsty in your soul, watch this.

1 of the All-time Cartoons of the 2010 Decade to Date
This is a TERRIFIC show! You apace become an idea of what the characters are similar subsequently watching merely a few episodes, which is neat! You really experience similar yous have an idea of what the characters are going through and experience like y'all tin can really relate to them due to the writing, the music, and the acting together! Disney continues its streak of quality cartoons
"Star vs Evil" comes after two tough acts to follow in "Phineas & Ferb" and "Gravity Falls", both existence generally acclaimed and quite successful. Despite having such high standards to live upwardly to, "Star vs Evil" manages to meet expectations with cute blitheness and well done sense of humor. Not just does the show provide a potent female atomic number 82 that is besides likable (something Disney has lacked since the cease of Kim Possible), it besides doesn't autumn into the played out superhero trope of the main character having to hide their powers. Overall I'd say this is one of Disney's best new shows - providing some of the all-time animation on Telly, very likable characters, and interesting plots that don't get into the over the top tryhard zany zone that so many cartoons suffer from.

It's Gonna Become a picayune Weird, it's Gonna get a picayune Wild!
Later watching the first two episodes of Star vs The Forces of Evil, I can hands say I want more than. I really like this show, and it is just what Disney Aqueduct needs to aid boost its animated Lineup. A mix of Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, and Only A PINCH of Ren and Stimpy in there as well, Star vs The Forces of Evil delivers beautiful animation, skillful characters, and a pretty straightforward plot that's easy to follow. Along with some really smashing jokes, and skilful humor all effectually, it is an insanely fun show to experience, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to add another fun Animated Show to their lists.
Also the theme song is definitely i of the Catchiest in awhile aside from Steven Universe's. I've been humming it for the by few days, non sure when I'll stop But in any case, I will keep to lookout man Star battle the Forces of Evil, and hopefully information technology continues to have a strong showing like it did in Episodes one and two. I know I will be along for the dimensional ride to see!

A mixed bag of a show
Pros: Some corking characters (Star, Marco, Eclipsa, Moon, Marco's karate teacher, etc.)
Some nifty moments and episodes
Pretty good blitheness (for the most part)
Some strong story and character elements
Cons: Some of the plot-choices are awkward and don't brand sense
Plenty of filler episodes
Most of the humor and jokers aren't very funny

Conclusion: Not a bad show. Has lots of flaws, merely the great characters, mostly very-expert 2nd season, and animation kept me watching till the end. Wouldn't really recommend it due to its numerous flaws and poor episodes.

A Good Show in a Ocean of Trash
I turned this prove on merely to see what it was about. I expected nothing more than than a half-decent animated series with naive jokes and a plot line taken straight from another story book tale. However, I found that this show held tons of hilarious jokes and scenarios (sometimes fifty-fifty innuendos) inside a creative plot. I was surprised that, while maintaining most aspects of a PG evidence, it was extremely entertaining and kept my attention well (which is proverb a lot if you knew me). Best animated TV show since Gravity Falls. Highly recommend...
Pros: Great animation, Creative story line, Hilarious scenarios. Cons: A bit too naive to entertain older crowds.
This show definitely deserves a chance. Sentry the showtime episode and, if you're annihilation like me, you'll be hooked.

A Total Must Lookout man!
When I get-go saw the outset episode, I detect it very funny from the start of it until get-go half of the flavour. Once I reached it 2nd one-half, I find information technology much more heady to picket.
In the 2nd season, all I can say is that this is series is already going from better to best.
So in decision, I find this show a highly-recommended, must watch series since its and so hard non to forget. Especially its characters and story, I would really like to proceed watching this until how Star and Marco's story continue.

Bad beginning half of flavor ane, only fantastic later on that

The first couple episodes are mediocre as the writers tried to get a bit also over the elevation with zaniness and thrill, but by the 3rd of quaternary episode the show levels itself (however zany simply toned down) and becomes a very enjoyable show to watch that is fun for both kids, teens and adults. It looks a bit childish and at times information technology is, but it is definitely worth a watch if your looking for show to watch and unwind after a long stressful day

The next "Gravity Falls"
I don't own Disney XD, so I have to watch when the Disney Aqueduct airs their animated shows, which is rare. I finally looked and establish a cartoon that I have talked most all the time, but only saw clips from and was finally able to see. That show is "Star Vs. The Forces Of Evil"! This show tells the story of a princess named Star from some other dimension living with a boy named Marco. Her supernatural enemies often follow her through World. Information technology'due south no coincidence that I became a huge fan of this show after "Gravity Falls" ended. Yeah, look at my avatar. Anyway, in some ways this show actually improves over GF. While GF is still a meliorate show overall, this is worth checking out.
The animation in this show is better. Information technology is simply amazing and the all-time I have ever seen in a Disney cartoon. The colors are absolutely gorgeous and the movements and facial expressions are wonderful. Another affair is that this show has much better romance. Whereas GF and other shows like "Run a risk Time!" have romance that doesn't go anywhere, this show has it wonderfully relevant to the plot. Before this show even started, people wanted Star and Marco to get together. It was even already established that they had honey interests, but equally the testify went on, anybody knew Star had a crush on Marco. In "Starcrushed" she finally revealed it to everybody! Star is one of the best mod cartoon stars because of how powerful she is. She's a magic princess who knows how to use her wand and fight all sorts of creatures.
Marco is bang-up too. It's not merely because Marco is very entertaining, but considering he was already a strong fighter in the series. Right from the get go, he helps Star fight. Usually, a character like that would take to get through a lot to be that powerful. I really experience for this guy and want him to succeed which makes information technology all the more painful when he fails. Star tin bring together the ranks of characters like Mabel and Pinkie Pie for great happy girls. The other characters are wonderful too.
There's Tom, Star's ex, who is a demon. She has some luck picking boys, huh? Flying Princess Pony Head is, well, a flying princess pony caput who talks in this hilarious vocalization. Volition they ever practise a Godfather joke with her? Marco is already dating this daughter named Jackie. A Dear Letter to Classic 90s Anime and U.Southward. Cartoons
With an abundance of Disney animated Tv shows that have released over the years (almost of which I've ignored e'er since Kim Possible and Phineas & Ferb concluded their run), none was more surprising than to see the studio present its take on classic "magical daughter" and "fantasy" anime spun in their ain way. Creator Daron Nefcy certainly presented something that feels similar a throwback to the 90s cartoons I in one case knew (both from the East and West).
In the Kingdom of Mewni, 14-twelvemonth-one-time Star Butterfly (voiced by The Middle's Eden Sher) is expected to take the throne next in line as ruler. Started potent, but and so...

This serial started pretty well. It was very fun and charming, and for its first seasons information technology had interesting villains. Sadly, after the "Battle for Mewni" episodes the series start losing steam, leading to an incredibly unsatisfying decision which honestly makes look the principal characters pretty bad, not to mention how the completely underwhelming final antagonist is defeated in a rather anti-climatic manner. My personal advice would be to watch this series until the Boxing for Mewni and ignore everything else what happens afterward those episodes.

I don't know what other people thinking but I Honey this prove. It's pretty astonishing and very creative, makes you smile and enjoy when you sentry. Yet, it has to improve to get improve.
Offset of all, the plot feels similar it does not be in first few episodes. However, when you lot keep watching you lot slowly understand where the show is going. Just similar I said in title, Information technology grows on you. You either love or hate this show.
In my opinion, this show is Gravity Falls'southward and Steven Universe's baby. If you like these shows, you will definitely love this show. And, if you are an adult and nonetheless have a child's spirit, not some other ane of fabricated humans, yous will dearest this show. Information technology may be the next large blithe show, like Gravity Falls
I was like "Nah, i'm not feeling like watching this!" like many others i can imagine, but i watched one episode and that's all i needed to get addicted to this show. I picket information technology pretty much everyday. The first and best thing you lot hear is the intro. It's tricky and has good visuals, ya know what i mean. The blitheness is constantly energetic and colorful. Voice interim is very good, and it fits with the characters. And we move on to the characters. The main character, Star is also constantly energetic and joyful, but she isn't afraid to teach some monsters a lesson. The other main grapheme, Marco, is kinda the supporting character and he'due south just the average guy with a almost magical twist to him. Even the freaking villain is crawly, always hunting for Stars wand, and even his minions are well done as a concept. The stories are also well done and have kind of a Gravity Falls/Steven Universe vibe to them. In fact, i recollect someone who also worked on Gravity Falls worked on this, and nosotros all know how dandy Gravity Falls and Steven Universe are. I hope they volition make more episodes so everybody that enjoys it can keep enjoying information technology! A great masterpiece. I rest my case

Marco is a hot, proficient looking, sexy anime character that shows their friendship and connection as a team. Marco is her partner in criminal offence and I beloved seeing the evolution of their friendship form in this very show! There is also a adversary,Ludo, who's motive is stealing Star's wand and creating chaos.The anime is ambrosial and the characters are all like able where it gives a experience skillful vibe when I watch it. It'due south cool how Star's voice actor is given the same persona on how she is perceived on The Middle. Fun, loving, and positive about every dire state of affairs! There needs to be more than shows like this. Now let me talk virtually that tricky theme song....I Love It! It'due south adorable, information technology's quirky, and it's wild. Started from the bottom, now we're here at the height
I have to admit that although I have been a huge fan of the show from the beginning, I accept to admit that considerately speaking this show started out every bit a pretty mediocre cartoon that seemed to be the typical western blithe serial with lilliputian plot and merely filler based episode. And I tin can understand if a casual viewer decides to non watch information technology because of that.
With that being said, now that the second season of the show has come out, I can confidently say that from both a subjective and objective betoken of view that Star vs the Forces of Evil is easily i of the best recent cartoon always, all upward there with the likes of Adventure Fourth dimension, Steven Universe, Gravity Falls and then on.

It's my new favorite show!
I definitely think that Star Butterfly is the coolest role of the show and Marco is a bully dissimilarity to her. I actually like seeing them fight together and I also similar all of Star's creative maneuvers and spells. I actually hope this show tin or achieve 100 episodes! Star is very energetic and much more interesting than any villains she could fight. By the way, if you say Johnny Test is bad but because Dexter's Laboratory came first, or if you say Family unit Guy is bad just because The Simpsons came first, then this prove is also bad (just not necessarily as much as the other two) just because Gravity Falls came kickoff, since Star reminds me of Mabel and Dipper reminds me of Marco. I got you haters trapped now! :)
